Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Dennis W. McCurdy holds a BS from Urbana University (1970), attended Hamma School of Theology at Wittenberg University, holds a master’s in counseling (1979) and Juris Doctorate (1990) from the University of Pittsburgh. Dennis is a songwriter with 3 cds currently released, a poet, and a writer of subjective journalism. Feigning retirement he continues to practice law, write, and perform rather than decline in a recliner. His children are scattered on both coasts while he and his wife Mj reside outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where they own and operate an art gallery, music venue, and vinyl record store. Dennis was adjunct faculty at SRU in Social Work 2004.
